Experience
Joining Nyxell was a real challenge — I walked into a company that was practically in its earliest stage. It was a startup with limited funding and market share, trying to get its MVP off the ground.
Thanks to my contribution and that of every teammate who was part of the journey, we turned Nyxell into one of the leading names in its space, transforming it from a startup on the brink into a serious company with excellent people and a strong foundation.
My time at Nyxell went through several stages, with a consistent pattern of growing in importance both in the team and in its leadership.
I joined as the iOS Tech Lead, overseeing two applications: one for purchasing event tickets, and another — a scanner reader that streamlines venue entry for nightclubs.
After a period of strong results, I pivoted to Mobile Tech Lead, which was a significant step up. I was now managing and contributing to four apps simultaneously — 2 iOS and 2 Android — which posed a real pain point when it came to aligning improvements and new features across very different platforms.
My responsibilities span from hands-on feature development, to managing team workloads and keeping everyone aligned. It’s a role that carries immense responsibility, but being able to shape — together and by consensus — both the company’s direction and its technology strategy is something I have always aspired to.
